A. Schwabs: This is one of my favorite places to visit on Beale Street. Walk in the door, and it's like travelling back in time. I could spend hours in this place just looking. They have great Memphis souvenirs too!
Memphis Belle: The real macoy, and inspiration for the movie of the same name. This was the first US bomber to complete 25 sucessful missions without a casualty.
Mud Island: Hop aboard the monorail (as seen in the movie The Firm) and head to the island. A great place during the summer. Walk the scale model of the Mississippi River and take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico.
Papa Johns: If you enjoy great tasting pizza, you have to try Papa John's! Made from the freshest ingredients and served up with garlic sauce!
Memphis Queen Line:For about $10 you can take a city tour down the Mississippi River. A trip to Memphis isn't complete without a ride in a river boat!
Back Yard Burgers:No question, these are the best burgers around. Served up with waffle fries and a refreshing beverage, nothing hits the hunger pain better! You've got to give them a try!!
Corkys: You can't visit Memphis without stopping at Corkys for their famous BBQ ribs. These have got to be about the best around. A great atmosphere as well. Service is fast and friendly. But make sure you arrive hungry!!
